In this new era of financial services, companies that excel in customer experience, mobility, big data analytics, IoT, blockchain, machine learning and AI are becoming direct competitors to incumbents. This change also creates societal impacts via greater financial inclusion of unbanked segments.
Digital Finance Working Group aims to perform state-of-the-art research and give consultancy on topics where new technologies, information systems and finance intersect. In doing so, DFWG brings together distinguished international faculty members and professionals from diverse backgrounds to address all dimensions of digital finance.
Digital Finance Working Group 2019 Seminar series present Tolga Ulutaş, Digital Banking Executive Vice President at Akbank. Tolga Ulutaş will present about the Future of Banking with a focus on Fintech partnerships. The seminar will take place at B105 anfi at Hisar Campus and will be exclusive to Boğaziçi University students.
Cemil Şinasi Türün, owner of Defterhane Blockchain start-up, will discuss the blockchain technology and digital currencies in the first seminar of DFWG 2020 seminar series. The seminar will be open to all Boğaziçi University students and will take place on February 24th 7 pm at Hisar Campus.
