New technologies are reshaping the way financial services are created and distributed. Nonbank companies are challenging incumbent financial services firms to rethink their business models and become intrapreneurs. In this new era of financial services, companies that excel in customer experience, mobility, big data analytics, IoT, blockchain, machine learning and AI are becoming direct competitors to incumbents. This change also creates societal impacts via greater financial inclusion of unbanked segments.
Digital Finance Working Group aims to perform state-of-the-art research and give consultancy on topics where new technologies, information systems and finance intersect. In doing so, DFWG brings together distinguished international faculty members and professionals from diverse backgrounds to address all dimensions of digital finance.
