Short Bio: 

Emre Demirci received his Bachelor of Arts in Management from Boğaziçi University, Turkey, in 2014 and started Master of Arts program in Management Information Systems in Boğaziçi University in 2017. He continues MA thesis research with the advisory of Associate Professor Ceylan Onay Şahin in financial technology field through studying the relationship between financial literacy and cryptocurrency participation among Turkish residents. In the meantime, Emre works for a public institution in finance sector as auditor and has specialities in deposit insurance, supervision and auditing, accounting, international financial reporting standards, information security, IT audit. He is also a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association - ISACA İstanbul Chapter.
